Owomugasho Rabboni is a Ugandan artist born on 8th January. He graduated with a bachelor’s of fine art at Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing a master’s in Fine Art at Makerere University Uganda. Owomugasho is a full-time professional painter, sculptor, and tutor. He also does photography and videography as a passion.

Owomugasho derives his inspirations from his environment focusing on human portraits as subject studies. He uses oil paints as his medium of painting to express facial moods and details aiming at a hyper-realistic painting. Since pursuing his art professionally, his work has found homes in many public and private places all over the world.

Owomugasho often combines his passion for photography with his love for painting by referencing photos he takes from moments in his life and bringing them to life, once again, on canvas.

Owomugasho markets and sells his artworks through digital platforms like facebook, instagram and twitter under the user name owomugashoart. This has helped him to reach several clients and also exhibit his works to the public to appreciate.

Owomugasho plans on exhibiting his artworks at a global scale and also create an art training facility in his surrounding to be able to pass on the skill to different individuals. He also plans on conserving the environment through recycling plastic materials to create sculptures.
